Prices are list prices shown on the public page on the date given, before tax, shipping or rebates. No affiliate tags on any link; Amazon links (none at present) may carry tag chargercostby-20. These are hardware prices only. Installation is separate; see the install cost calculator.
Is now a good time to buy?
We only use the prices we have recorded ourselves. With fewer than 4 snapshots for a model, the answer is "not enough history yet". Right now every model has fewer than 4 snapshots, so every model reads "not enough history yet".
Which chargers aren't tracked?
- JuiceBox (Enel X Way): Not sold new in North America. Enel X Way USA closed on October 11, 2024 and said unshipped orders would not be delivered. We track no price for it. [source]
How do we record prices?
A script makes one plain request per product page, checks robots.txt first, and skips any page that blocks it or fails to load. It never logs in or uses a headless browser. Tesla's shop refuses plain requests, so Tesla prices are entered by hand when we check. Every snapshot stores the date, price, stock status and URL.
Do these links earn you a commission?
No. The store links are plain links with no affiliate tags. If we ever add Amazon links, those may carry our Amazon Associates tag, and we'd disclose it on the page.
Why does the ChargePoint price come from a utility store?
ChargePoint's own store page showed no price to our request on Oct 25, 2026. Alliant Energy's marketplace showed the plug-in Home Flex at $599 and in stock.
Is a lower price always better?
No. Amperage, cable length, plug versus hardwire, and connector type (J1772 or NACS) all differ between these models. Compare the version listed in each row.
Why isn't JuiceBox listed?
Enel X Way USA closed on October 11, 2024, and said orders that hadn't shipped would not be delivered. There's no maker channel selling new units to track.
